Damn i've been so busy at work recently, after i came back from leave.

Firstly, it's work at station, then on top of that, i have to go to Court to be a witness for a murder case i attended way back in Oct. Then when i got home, i got a call from HQ asking me to go to Java with 3 other paramedics and the SAF medical team. One whammy after the other! But the mission was cancelled..... after standing by 3 bloody days, they said it's cancelled. Sheesh.

On the bright side, i bought a fish tank! Yay! Keeping guppies and tetra.
Ju and i went to scout for the fishies and we spent like $120 of the accessories!
Goodness, to keep fishes, so many things must be done!
Oh well, we now have an amazon concept fish tank in our living room! hehe.....
So let's see, i have 2 doggies, 1 fighting fish, 10 tetras and 1 guppy!
My crib's turning into a zoo! i still wan a monkey!
Another good news is that i got promoted. Double yay!
Got the news one day before our ROM. Double happiness?

God's blessing..... shoiks

So the day finally arrived! In about 1 1/2hrs, we would tie the knot.
Our Marital Status will be changed from Single to Married! haha
Feeling a little nervous and excited at the same time.
Gosh, hopefully i dun choke or stammer when we're reciting our vows.

Went to pick up Ju's bridal bouquet just now while her makeup artist came over.
She looks stunning! Gorgeous like a princess, who's going to take her place as a Queen!
Kept teasing her that we're gonna sign on our death will later on. haha
No turning back now, this is it! God bless us and our home!

Pics up soon! =)

Sunday..... it's been a good one, with shocking news.

It's Himmah's wedding today! The bugger finally settled down.
Happy for him! one of my closer mates in the scdf.
Same trainee batch, now same station, even same rota sia!
And it was my first time i've been to a malay wedding, honestly
Haha.... so here's how it goes.... correct me if i'm wrong....

Firstly, the malay procession happens at 2 places, the bride's then the groom.
The groom goes over to the bride's place, have the procession and all....
Thereafter, they proceed to the groom's place....
So we were at himmah's parent's place at the void deck.
Waiting for him to come with his bride. We would then eat first,
buffet style of nasi briyani and dessert while waiting.
Then Himmah and his bride arrives, to a procession of men in horse suits dancing,
dunno what that's called, thereafter, they sit down and a silat thingy would be presented in front of them.... then they proceed to the 'main stage' where they would be seated like a king and queen. haha... photo taking and all.... then people say goodbye and leave!
Yah, people come and go, come and go..... they dun stay long....

it's different from a chinese wedding where the guest have to stay for the whole 8-10 course of the dinner, then go back. But anyway, it's really interesting to see different wedding styles from different races..... lovely! Missed an indian wedding last month, damn! Was looking forward to it, cuz i haven't been to one. Oh well, hopefully i get the chance to one day.

As i was on my way to the wedding, i received an sms, stating that one of our colleagues from another station passed away. Shocked to the bone, i didn't register it immediately till i read the sms another time. Apparently, she committed suicide by falling from height. Sigh, life's just simply unpredictable. She had the sweetest smile and the friendliest character. Chirpy and cheerful nature, i'm sure she was loved by everyone in her station. It'll be a great loss to her station and to all paramedics in Singapore. May God bless her soul.....
